Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is located in the central section of the Chuanxi Plain and is 16km southwest from the center of Chengdu city. Located at 30¡ã34¡ä47¡å N and 103¡ã57¡ä02¡åE, it is an important aviation hub and distribution center for passengers and cargo in the southwestern region. It is stationed with over 20 civil aviation and port units, including Southwestern Civil Aviation Administration of China, China International Airlines (Air China) Southwest Division, Sichuan Airlines, etc. There are direct flights linked with many domestic as well as international destinations.
